PORN/SEISURES

ummm1

So are we all in agreement that the video for Flying Lotus’ “Parisian Goldfish” is the filmclip of the year yet? (Link here. If you haven’t seen this yet it is NSFW up the yingyang and has heaps of flashing lights.)

The guy who directed this is Eric Wareheim of the Adult Swim show “Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job”. This is another filmclip he directed for some band called The Bird and the Bee. The song is called “Polite Dance Song”. Really, where the hell do they get the people for these videos?

He also did the video for that MGMT song with the kids in it but fuck that.

This is the first in a series of videos that Tim and Eric did with Zach Galifianakis for Absolut Vodka (you may remember Zach from the amazing alternative version for Kanye’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing“). Apparently they were told they could do whatever they wanted as long as the product was mentioned. There are two more in the series if you care to look. It gets pretty epic/meta.

So while Robot Chicken seems to have gone mainstream and you may be able to catch Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman et al. for about twenty minutes on a fucking Friday night on cable, Awesome Show, Great Job isn’t on at all in Australia. And you can’t watch the clips on their website if you aren’t in the United States. So judging purely on the videos on YouTube I can’t decide if it is mostly retarded or genius. But the teasers make it look pretty good:

BONUS FLYING LOTUS:
This is off some bootleg EP Flying Lotus put out this year called Shhhh, a pretty nice remix of Nelly Fertado’s Promiscuous Girl.
